Se juega con un botón, y dura una hora. Es difícil de describir porque roza varios géneros, se recomienda experimentarlo a ciegas. Disponible en Steam e Itch.io por 6€. It's really hard to describe because it sits between genres and is best experienced blind.

After helping out on its final iteration and launch after many years, it quickly sold 20.000 copies and the IP was eventually bought by Atari, who made their own sequel.

TRETIS is the post-apocalyptic version of an arcade machine, an extra-squeezed puzzle-action game where you embody the cursor of an enigmatic relic in a broken world.

Inicialmente creé, programé y diseñé TRETIS como parte de NOTEPIKE, mi propio estudio indie, con otra gente increíble aquí en España. I initially created, coded and designed TRETIS as part of NOTEPIKE, my own indie studio, with other awesome folks here in Spain.

Victoria: La Primera is a child-friendly point-and-click adventure based on the book of the same name. It's the first client-commisioned game made by my studio NOTEPIKE.

Fui el programador, líder de equipo, artista de UI e hice la mayor parte del diseño. El arte fue realizado por los dos increíbles artistas del equipo Jok y Sato, y el audio por el maravilloso Kalen. I was the programmer, team lead, UI artist and did most of the design. The art was made by the team's two amazing artists Jok & Sato, and audio by the wonderful Kalen.

Fui el único programador, diseñador y líder del equipo. Contó con dos artistas y un músico a tiempo parcial, resultando en una demo disponible públicamente que se está mostrando en escuelas y eventos culturales españoles. I was the sole programmer, designer and team lead. It had two artists and a part-time musician, leading to a publicly available demo that is being toured in Spanish schools and cultural events.

Fue presentado en la Biblioteca Nacional de España como proyecto oficial y en varios programas culturales de la televisión andaluza. It was featured in the National Library of Spain as an official project and several Andalusian TV culture-adjacent shows.

La exposición 'Los Machado. Retrato de Familia' desarrollada por TH Estudio en Sevilla reúne más de 200 piezas que niegan la enemistad entre los hermanos poetas. The exhibition 'The Machados. Family Portrait' gathers over 200 pieces denying the enmity between the poet brothers.

La exposición se cierra con la "Máquina de trovar", imaginada por Antonio Machado. Mágicamente, escribe e imprime un soneto si se le susurran algunas palabras. The exhibition closes with the "Trovar Machine", imagined by Antonio Machado. Magically, it writes and prints a sonnet if words are whispered to it.

Como parte del equipo externo, estuve a cargo del funcionamiento interno; desde la escucha y procesamiento del habla hasta su conversión en poemas procedurales y narrativa interactiva y, finalmente, su impresión en formato físico. I was in charge of the inner workings, from listening to processing speech and turning it into procedural poems and interactive narrative and finally, printing it in physical form.

All sounds were recorded and mixed on Live 10. It won the best audiovisual work award at the Seville short film contest in 2019.

El resultado fue un cartel de arte generativo, y una web-app colaborativa multiplataforma HTML5 + node. The result was a live procedural cover for the event, and a multiplatform collaborative web-app HTML5 + node.

Durante una semana desarrollé tanto el front como el back end de la aplicación, que se convirtió en una galería cooperativa de miles de interacciones divertidas entre invitados y visitantes. Cualquiera podía acercarse y pintar con el dispositivo que tuviera a mano. For a week I developed both the front and back ends of the app, which turned into a cooperative gallery of thousands of fun interactions between guests and visitors. Anyone could walk up and paint with whatever device was at hand.

Lugadero, uno de los estudios más punteros de Sevilla, se encargó de todo el montaje físico. Lugadero, one of the leading design studios in Seville, was in charge of all the physical assembly.

Libro diseñado, maquetado y cosido que abarca las obras más importantes de H.P. Lovecraft. Las imágenes impresas se convierten en animaciones al pasar por encima un marcapáginas rayado que revela cada fotograma según se va moviendo. Algunos son momentos de obras clásicas de terror, y otros han sido dibujados y animados a mano. El libro de artista incluye imágenes elaboradas por una red neuronal programada y entrenada en Python que busca palabras clave dentro de los relatos e intenta representarlas visualmente, resultando en ilustraciones únicas donde se perciben partes de animales, rostros humanos y artefactos indescriptibles. Designed, arranged and hand-stitched book that covers the most important works of H.P. Lovecraft. Printed images are turned into animations by hovering over a lined bookmark that reveals each frame as it moves. Some are moments from classic horror works, and others have been drawn and animated by hand. The artist's book includes images made by a neural network programmed and trained in Python that searches for keywords within the stories and tries to represent them visually, resulting in unique illustrations where parts of animals, human faces and indescribable artifacts are perceived.

Proyecto de ilustración diaria en papel que cambia según aumenta o disminuye el número de casos. Una red neuronal en Python toma los datos de infección diarios y genera una palabra o frase que se usa para hacer un dibujo unicolor con aspectos metafóricos, reflexivos, abstractos… La palabra tendrá inclinaciones felices si el número es menor que el día anterior, y será más dramática o triste si se da el caso contrario. Se llevó a cabo una vez al día durante el período de cuarentena total en Sevilla. Aquí puedes ver todas las ilustraciones. Daily illustration project (ink on paper) that changes as the number of COVID cases shifts. A neural network in Python takes the daily infection data and generates a word or phrase that is used to make a single-color drawing with metaphorical, reflective, abstract aspects... The word will have happy leanings if the number is lower than the previous day, and more dramatic or gloom if the opposite is the case. It was carried out once a day during the total quarantine period in Seville. Here you can see all the illustrations.

Se trata principalmente de un videojuego dividido en tres partes; cada una es un juego con mecánicas independientes que da un giro diferenciativo pero mantiene un formato breve y sencillo, y está relacionado con una parte de la historia global del proyecto. It is, most of all, a videogame divided into three parts; each is a game with stand-alone mechanics that takes a distinctive twist but maintains a short and simple format, while tied to a part of the project's overall story.

A lo largo de mi carrera como freelancer he producido logotipos, marcas e identidades completas para empresas y grupos. Throughout my career as a freelancer I've produced logos, brands and full-on branding jobs for companies and entities.

Pura Sangre

Diseño de packaging orientado al conflicto entre España y Cataluña. Es un producto de gama dual que hace creer al potencial usuario prejuicioso que el packaging está de su lado, sólo para terminar dando un mensaje de unidad común: España es Cataluña, y Cataluña es España. Todos somos iguales, y todos somos válidos. Debido al juego visual entre la bandera de ambos lugares y la distinción lingüística, al principio todo parece indicar que es un "test de pureza geográfica" que le va a confirmar que es de "sangre pura", pero al abrirlo sólo se encuentra un pisapapeles y la frase "eres español", en el caso de la caja catalana, y "eres catalán" en la caja española. Uno se da cuenta de que las propias banderas son prácticamente idénticas pero con los colores invertidos, y que el packaging catalán se acerca más a la bandera española mientras que la caja española se acerca más al orden de color catalán. Es todo un juego visual de engaño que aprovecha las similitudes estilísticas y la falta de inspección por parte del usuario; todos los textos de las cajas aluden al mensaje de unidad que emplea el proyecto, escondidos a plena vista. Aquí tienes la presentación del proyecto. Packaging design as a statement towards the independence conflict between Spain and Catalonia. It's a dual range product that makes the potentially prejudiced user believe that the packaging is on their side, only to end up giving a message of common unity: Spain is Catalonia, and Catalonia is Spain. We are all equal, and we are all valid. Due to the visual similarities between the flag of both places and the linguistic distinction, at first everything seems to indicate that it is a "geographical purity test" that will confirm that the user's blood is "pure", as in 100% from it's own country, but when you open it you'd only find a paperweight and the phrase "you are Spanish", in the case of the Catalan box, and "you are Catalan" in the Spanish box. One realizes that the flags themselves are practically identical but with the colors changed, and that the Catalan packaging is closer to the Spanish flag while the Spanish box is closer to the Catalan color order. It's all a visual game of deception that takes advantage of stylistic similarities and lack of user inspection; all the texts in the boxes allude to the message of unity used by the project, hidden in plain sight. Rehabilitación neurológica y desarrollo de realidad virtual para niños que enfrentan un trasplante hepático, para superar fobias y neurorrehabilitación general. ‘Reactive’ se crea con el objetivo de entrenar la atención de los niños ingresados en la UCI del Hospital La Paz. Neurological rehabilitation and VR project for children facing liver transplants, to overcome phobias and for general neurorehabilitation. Reactive was created with the aim of training the attention of children admitted to the ICU at La Paz Hospital in Madrid.

Formo parte del equipo como programador, diseñador y desarrollador de UX/UI en Unity, y desarrollador web Front-end para la herramienta web que acompaña el programa para monitorizar las constantes e interactuar/controlar la experiencia del paciente. I was part of the team as a programmer, designer, and UX/UI developer in Unity, as well as a Front-end web developer for the web tool that accompanies the program to monitor vitals and interact/control the patient's experience.

El videojuego Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, por primera vez en realidad virtual. El concepto 2D encaja espectacularmente con el medio VR, y terminará siendo un producto completo que se presentará a Bennett Foddy antes de publicarse en tiendas. El género 'Foddian' ha tenido un éxito masivo en pantallas planas (Only Up!, Jump King, Pogostuck...), pero el mercado de VR carece de un título definitivo que capture este tipo específico de bucle de frustración y recompensa. La escalada basada en físicas en VR suele ser demasiado fácil o automatizada. Llevo haciendo cosas desde que soy pequeño, y hago las suficientes al día como para que la gente se preocupe cuando digo que no hago absolutamente nada. I've been doing things since I was a kid, and I do enough a day that people worry when I say I do absolutely nothing.

Me crié con Flash, crecí con los primeros Indies y fui haciendo mis piquitos en los videojuegos después de tropezarme con el arte, música y animación de mala manera como freelancer. Después de haber probado todo motor de videojuegos 2D/3D y programa de animación/arte/música/código que existe, hoy en día me interesan los juegos 2D reduccionistas en Construct, la realidad virtual en Unity y el Hard Electro en Live. I was raised with Flash, I grew up with the first Indies and I was making my little steps in video games after stumbling into art, music, and animation as a freelancer. Having tried every 2D/3D game engine and animation/art/music/code program out there, nowadays I'm interested in reductionist 2D games in Construct, virtual reality in Unity and Hard Electro in Live.
